Trio Bembe takes home the World Music Award
We were suprised last night when the 
WCMA host called the World Music category first out of all the awards. Scott had two glasses of wine in his hands, and we had to run down to the stage! We were given the Western Canadian Music Award for World Recording of the Year! We’re very excited, honored, and thankful to our families, friends, and fans (the three seem to mix all together!).

We’ll be celebrating our award at the Cyrk House on Friday, Nov 4. We’ll bring the award (and maybe collect fingerprints like Al Simmons did with his Juno), share some stories about our time in the Yukon, and dance the night away to great Latin music! Plus, we hear there’s killer salsa at the Cyrk.
